- Fireman Ministerial: 12th pass with 35 words per minute typing speed (90% accuracy) on a computer keyboard.
- Sweeper/Safaiwala: 10th pass from a recognized board.
- Age Limits (as of 01.01.2026) (relaxations apply as per rules):
- Fireman, Fireman Driver, Fireman Ministerial: 18 to 28 years.
- Sweeper/Safaiwala: 18 to 40 years.
- Physical Standards (PMT for Fireman, Fireman Driver, Fireman Ministerial) (PET screening for Sweeper):
- Male Candidates: Height 162 cm minimum, Chest 81 cm unexpanded/85 cm expanded minimum.
- Female Candidates: Height 152 cm minimum.
- PET Events (for Fireman, Fireman Driver, Fireman Ministerial) (qualifying order):
- Long Race: 1600 meters in 7 minutes (male) / 1000 meters in 6 minutes 30 seconds (female).
- Vertical Rope Climb: 4 meters minimum.
- Load Carrying: 63.5 kg (male) / 50 kg (female) for 91.44 meters in 1 minute.
- Bent Knee Sit-Ups: 25 sets (male) / 20 sets (female) in 90 seconds.
- Walk on Beam: 7 meters long, 8 cm wide, carrying 17 kg (male) / 13 kg (female) in 3 attempts.
- PET Screening for Sweeper/Safaiwala:
- Long Race: 1600 meters in 7 minutes 30 seconds (male) / 1000 meters in 7 minutes 30 seconds (female).

- Physical Standard Test (PST): Qualifying in nature.
- Physical Endurance Test (PET): Qualifying in nature.
- Scrutiny of Original Documents: Qualifying in nature.
- Post-Specific Tests:
- Fireman Ministerial: Computer Test (50 marks, 35 wpm typing speed with 90% accuracy).
- Fireman Driver: Driving Test (50 marks).
- Sweeper/Safaiwala: Trade Test (100 marks, no written exam).
- Fireman and Fireman Driver: Written Examination (100 marks, 80 minutes).
- Marks Calculation:
- For Fireman Driver, add driving test marks (50) to written exam marks (100).
- For Fireman, select list based on written exam marks only.

- Matriculation/10th certificate (for age proof).
- Valid Domicile Certificate of UT Ladakh.
- Category Certificate (SC, ST, ALC, EWS, if applicable).
- Educational qualification certificate (10th/12th marksheet).
- Ex-Agniveer certificate (if applicable).
- Driving License (LMV with TRANS) for Fireman Driver.
- Discharge certificate for Ex-Servicemen.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) for in-service government candidates.
- Valid Photo-ID proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN, Passport, etc.).
- Two recent passport-size color photographs (same as uploaded during application).

- Fireman / Fireman Driver / Fireman Ministerial:
