General Manager (Operations & Maintenance)

- Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) is a 50:50 Joint Venture of the Government of India and Government of Kerala, responsible for implementing and maintaining the Kochi Metro Rail project.
- Phase I of the Kochi Metro Project is fully operational, and Phase II (JLN to Info Park) has been sanctioned, covering approximately 11 km with 11 stations.
- The role involves overseeing Operations & Maintenance functions for KMRL, including planning, procurement, contract management, and maintenance of engineering systems.
- The position is primarily for General Manager (O&M) but may be filled as Additional General Manager (O&M) if suitable candidates are not found.
- The post is available on a regular, deputation, or re-employment basis, with flexible terms and conditions.

- Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in any branch of Engineering from an AICTE/UGC-recognized University/Institute.
- For deputation: Serving IRTS/IRSSE/IRSEE/IRSME/IRSE officers of Indian Railways or equivalent in subsidiaries/sister concerns with relevant experience.
- For re-employment: Retired IRTS/IRSSE/IRSEE/IRSME/IRSE officers of Indian Railways or equivalent with relevant experience.
- For regular post: Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience in Operations, Construction, or Maintenance of Signalling/Telecom/Rolling Stock/Traction, with at least 15 years in an executive/managerial role.
- For deputation: Serving officers in SAG pay scale (Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200) or equivalent in IDA pattern with relevant experience.
- For re-employment: Retired officers in pay scale of Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200 or equivalent with relevant experience.
- Candidates must have sufficient exposure and experience in planning, procurement, and contract management in Metro/Railway sectors.
- For regular/contract posts, candidates from Railways/Rail PSUs/Metro/Govt. Organizations must be in the equivalent grade or immediate lower grade.

- Shortlisting of candidates based on eligibility criteria and experience.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for an interview via email registered with KMRL.
- The interview will assess the candidate's suitability for the role, including their experience, leadership, and technical skills.
- Final selection will be based on interview performance, subject to management discretion.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.
- KMRL reserves the right to cancel or amend the selection process or not fill the position.
