- Proficiency in Malayalam and English is mandatory; Hindi is desirable.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Malayalam television news reporting.
- Experience in print/desk roles is an added advantage.
- Must have a proven track record of breaking exclusive stories on political, legal, and high-profile investigative beats.
- Experience working across multiple news bureaus is required.
- Senior editorial experience at the level of Chief Reporter, Special Correspondent, or Principal Correspondent.
- Strong desk skills for prime-time bulletin production and coordination with production crews.
- Experience in running a single-person bureau independently is preferred.
- Must have an established network of news sources across police, government, and political circles.
- State or industry awards for journalism will be given strong consideration.
