- Candidates appearing for final qualifying examinations are eligible but must submit proof of passing during the Main Examination application.

- Maximum age: 40 years for General Merit candidates, 43 years for Category 2A/2B/3A/3B, and 45 years for SC/ST/Category-1 candidates.
- Additional one-time 5-year age relaxation for all categories as per Government Order dated 29-01-2026.
- Ex-servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, and widowed/divorced candidates (not remarried) receive additional age relaxations.
