🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Educational qualification: Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) OR MBA (Finance) OR MBA (Financial Management) OR MBA/M.Com (Financial Analysis) OR any other UGC-recognized Master's degree with 'Finance' as a subject; OR Chartered Accountant (CA); OR Cost Accountant (ICAI).
- Must qualify as a local candidate of the Hyderabad-Karnataka (Kalyana Karnataka) region under Article 371(J) of the Constitution, supported by a valid eligibility certificate.
- Candidates appearing for qualifying exams but awaiting results are eligible for Preliminary Examination; must produce proof of passing for Main Examination.
⚙️ Selection Process
- Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (objective type) with two papers: General Studies (150 marks, 2 hours) and Commerce & Management (300 marks, 2 hours). Total: 450 marks. Used for shortlisting only.
- Stage 2: Main Examination (descriptive type) with 8 papers: Kannada (150 marks), English (150 marks), General Studies (300 marks each for two papers), Financial Accounting & Management (300 marks), Principles of Management & Organizational Behaviour (300 marks), Corporate Finance & Taxation (300 marks), and Auditing & E-commerce (300 marks). Total: 2100 marks.
- Preliminary exam marks are not added to the final merit; candidates are shortlisted for Main Examination in a 1:20 ratio against notified vacancies.
- Main Examination papers (except language papers) are set at degree level.
