Research Associate and Junior Project Assistant Recruitment 2026

- Jharkhand Space Applications Center (JSAC) is hiring for 3 Research Associate (RA) and Junior Project Assistant (JPA) positions on a purely contractual basis for project work.
- Positions are part of Drone-based Survey and Land Cover/Land Use Change Analysis projects in Jharkhand State.
- Fixed monthly emoluments provided: ₹47,000 for RA and ₹25,920 for JPA. No additional benefits like DA, PF, or pension.

• Research Associate (RA): ['- Minimum Qualification: Ph.D in Remote Sensing & GIS, Geo-informatics, Geology, Forestry, Geophysics, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences, Agriculture, Water Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Science from a recognized university.', '- OR: 3 years of research, teaching, and design/development experience after M.Sc / ME / M.Tech with a first-class in the mentioned disciplines.', '- Additional Requirement: One research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.', '- Desirable: Proficiency in image processing & GIS software, DGPS survey experience, drone survey experience, and DGCA-approved Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) for drone flying.']
