- Two distinct posts: Draftsman (Civil) and Works Supervisor, available across Jammu and Kashmir Divisions.
- Online applications open from 01.08.2026 to 30.08.2026.
- Selection based on written/OMR objective-type examination with negative marking.
- Open only to domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir holding a valid Domicile Certificate.

- Must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir with a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority.
- For Draftsman (Civil): Two-Year Draftsman Training Course Certificate or Diploma from a Government-recognized institute.
- For Works Supervisor: Matriculation pass or equivalent, along with an ITI Certificate in Building Construction or Carpentry Trade from JKBOTE or DG Training, Government of India.
- Candidates must produce original qualification certificates during document verification.

- Selection is based purely on merit in a written/OMR objective-type examination conducted in English.
- Examination includes multiple-choice questions with negative marking of one-fourth mark per wrong answer.
- Shortlisted candidates undergo document verification with original certificates.
- Final selection subject to verification of eligibility and documents.

- Ex-Servicemen Certificate in Form-XIV (if applicable).
- Two recent passport-size color photographs (not older than six months).
- Valid original Photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN Card, or Passport).

- Rs. 600 for Open Merit (OM), OBC, ALC-IB, and RBA candidates.
- Rs. 500 for SC, ST-1, ST-2, EWS, and PwBD candidates.
- Fee payable only via online mode (Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card).
- Fee once paid is non-refundable and non-transferable.
