- For Assistant Professor posts: B.E./B.Tech and Master's degree in the relevant branch with first class or equivalent.
- For Librarian post: Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD/Ph.D. holders prior to 19th September 1991).
- Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET or possess a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations.
- Maximum age limit: 40 years (relaxation available for reserved categories).
- Good academic record with knowledge of library computerization for Librarian post.
