- For Assistant Professor (general disciplines): Master's degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/differently-abled/PhD holders pre-1991) in the relevant subject.
- Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET or hold a qualifying PhD under UGC regulations (subject to conditions).
- For Assistant Professor (Computer Application): Master's degree with 60% marks (55% for reserved categories) in a relevant subject.
- For Librarian: Master's degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
