Rail Welding (Enclosed Arc) Technician on Contract (Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail - T2 Project)

- IRCON International Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, invites applications for Rail Welding (Enclosed Arc) Technician roles on a contract basis for the Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail - T2 Project.
- The company has successfully completed large-scale railway and highway projects in India and abroad, including Malaysia, Bangladesh, Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Turkey, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
- The selected candidates will be posted at the Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail - T2 Project in Surat, Gujarat.
- The role involves specialized Enclosed Arc (EA) welding and experience in covered arc welding of butt joints on 9mm thick carbon steel sheets in compliance with ISO 9606-1.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in shipbuilding, shipping, heavy engineering, railways, or similar industries.

- Qualification: Matriculation (10th pass) + ITI OR Apprenticeship Training + NTC OR NCTVT.
- Experience: Minimum three years of experience in arc welding, specifically in covered arc welding of butt joints on 9mm thick carbon steel sheets without a backing strip, in a downward or upright position in compliance with ISO 9606-1.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as of 01.10.2026. Age relaxations will be provided as per Government of India guidelines for reserved categories.
- Medical Standards: Candidates must be in sound health and free from color blindness. No relaxation in health standards will be allowed.

- Selection will be conducted through walk-in interviews only.
- Candidates must bring original documents for verification, including proof of age, community, educational qualifications, and experience.
