Design and validate wearable health monitoring sensors, biomedical instrumentation systems, and portable diagnostic devices for astronaut health monitoring.
Develop and analyze bio-signal data acquisition systems, medical imaging, and healthcare informatics solutions for spaceflight applications.
Conduct research in bioastronautics, human space sciences, and space habitat systems to ensure astronaut safety and mission success.
Focus on regenerative approaches, musculoskeletal integrity, and disease biology models relevant to human spaceflight.
Integrate AI/ML for real-time signal processing, imaging analysis, and predictive modeling in astronaut physiology and spaceflight stressors.
Work on closed-loop life support systems, multi-omics integration, and computational simulations for spaceflight conditions.
Collaborate on rodent/human analog design for spaceflight experiments and develop space-grade diagnostics and therapeutics.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Indian nationals only are eligible to apply.
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in specified domains OR a Master's degree (ME/M.Tech/MS/M.Sc.) with 60% marks (or 6.5 CGPA) along with a Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech/B.Sc.) with 65% marks (or 6.84 CGPA).
For certain posts, a dual degree (BS-MS) in biological sciences with 60% marks (or 6.5 CGPA) is also acceptable.
Degrees from foreign universities must be accompanied by an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
Professional courses pursued through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are not eligible.
Candidates must meet the prescribed qualification criteria as of the last date of application (30.08.2026).
