Senior Consultant and Consultant Positions under International Cooperation Division

- Engagement for Senior Consultant (2 posts) and Consultant (3 posts) under the International Cooperation (IC) Division of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW), Government of India.
- Roles involve supporting India's bilateral and multilateral maritime engagements, drafting technical briefs, monitoring international trade corridors (IMEC, EMC, INSTC, Northern Sea Route), and organizing high-level business roundtables.
- Positions are purely contractual, full-time, and based in New Delhi.
- Initial engagement duration: 2 years, extendable based on performance and mutual agreement.

- Master's degree (full-time) or above in Economics, Public Policy, Maritime, Trade, Transport Management, International Relations, or related subjects from a reputed Indian or International University.
- Senior Consultant: Minimum 5 years of full-time work experience post-essential education.
- Consultant: Minimum 3 years of full-time work experience post-essential education.
- Age limit: 25-45 years as on 18.09.2026 (last date of application submission).
- Meaningful experience in working with International Organizations (UN, etc.), Government Systems (GoI Ministries/Departments/Organizations, State Govt., PSUs, Autonomous Bodies), reputed think tanks, research institutions, or private sector organizations.
- Strong writing and analytical skills with evidence of critical writing (newspaper articles, peer-reviewed journals, university/think tank publications) and presentation skills.
- Professional proficiency in English and high proficiency in digital tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AI-enabled research tools).

- Selection will be based on assessment of qualifications, experience, and performance in the interview.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the tentative selection process dates in October 2026.
- Candidates must submit willingness for the post at the time of interview.
- Selected candidates must join within one month of the issue of the appointment letter.
