- Conduct numerical and experimental investigations on heat and mass transfer modeling for CO₂ capture applications.
- Develop experimental setups to study CO₂ adsorption on various adsorbents.
- Design and synthesize activated carbon/MOF (Metal-Organic Frameworks) for adsorption systems.
- Utilize computational tools such as COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB for modeling and simulations.
- Focus on waste-derived adsorbents for sustainable carbon capture solutions.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering with First Division and GATE qualification.
- OR Postgraduate degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal/Design), Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering with First Division at both graduate and postgraduate levels and GATE qualification.
- Candidates with knowledge of MATLAB, SOLIDWORKS, COMSOL Multiphysics, or ANSYS Fluent will be preferred.
- Exposure to high-pressure gas experiments is desirable.
