Various Vacancies under Sustainable Bio-Resource Innovation Program

- Recruitment for 14 positions under the 'Sustainable Bio-Resource Innovation Program' at IIT Guwahati's School of Agro and Rural Technology.
- Positions include Field Coordinator, Pearl Culture Consultant, Community Lead, Technical Worker (Herbal Value Chain), Nutraceutical Expert, and others.
- All positions are contractual with a duration of 3 months.
- No campus accommodation will be provided for selected candidates.

- Field Coordinator: Master’s Degree in Life Sciences with 3 years’ experience in Aquaculture and developing scaling cooperatives, SHGs, FPOs, etc.
- Pearl Culture Consultant: Master’s Degree in Fisheries with at least 6 years’ experience in Aquaculture; preferably with community engagement and skill development experience in North East India.
- Community Lead: Bachelor’s degree in Science/Humanities with 2 years’ experience in pearl culture and working with cooperatives, SHGs, and FPOs for farming practices.
- Technical Worker (Herbal Value Chain): M. Sc. in Life Sciences/Horticulture with 1 year of experience in tissue culture.
- Nutraceutical Expert: M. Sc. in Chemistry/Food Sciences with 3 years’ experience in the relevant field.
- Unskilled Worker (Herbal Value Chain): 12th Passed with 3 years’ experience in horticulture cultivation and working in Not-For-Profit organizations.
- Community Worker (Herbal Value Chain): 8th Pass with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Field Manager: Any graduate with 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Technical Worker (Bioeconomy): Any graduate with at least 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Community Worker (Bioeconomy): Class 8th passed with relevant experience.
- Subject Matter Expert (Edible Gum Processing): M. Sc. in Food Science & Technology with adequate exposure in food production design.
- Project Supervisor: Any graduate with at least 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Unskilled Worker (Edible Gum): 12th Pass out with 3 years of experience in Industry.
- Implementing Associate: Any graduate with at least 2 years of experience in a relevant field.

- Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the online interview.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email on 24th August 2026 about the interview time.
- Interview date: 27th August 2026 (Thursday) at 10:00 AM onwards.
