Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in Multimodal AI at IIT Gandhinagar

- Essential Qualifications:
• Master’s degree (M.Tech./M.S./M.Sc.) in Computer Science and Engineering or an equivalent degree in a closely related discipline, with a minimum of 60% marks or 7.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale).
• CSIR-UGC NET qualification (Lectureship/Assistant Professorship or GATE equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree, as per institute norms.
• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from graduation onwards, and 55% or equivalent grade in Class 10th and 12th.
- Desirable Qualifications:
• Exposure to dataset validation, error analysis, and annotation quality assessment methodologies.
• Ability to design reproducible experiments, perform error analysis, and report results with proper metrics.
• Proficiency in Python platforms (NLTK, Anaconda, Jupyter/Python notebooks) and version control systems (Git & GitHub).
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery) and backend/deployment technologies (Flask, Nginx, MongoDB, SQL, ElasticSearch).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Experience in implementing ML/NLP-based projects involving real-world datasets.
• Experience in conducting research and publishing papers in peer-reviewed conferences/journals.
• Ability to read, understand, and implement research ideas from academic literature and conduct systematic experiments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
