Consolidated fellowship of Rs. 58,000 per month plus HRA @ 27% for the position of Research Associate (01) under the project 'Guided Wave-Based Baseline Free Structural Health Monitoring of Ship Hulls under Varying Environments (RM00216G SN)'
Appointment is on a contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or up to the project duration, whichever is earlier
Project involves research on guided wave propagation, structural health monitoring, and finite element simulations in vibration and structural health monitoring
Exposure to experimental work in vibration and structural health monitoring is desirable

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Applied Mechanics from IITs/IISc/CFTIs
Minimum 2 research papers in Science Citation Index (SCI) journals
Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience (including PhD) in multi-structure interaction, guided wave propagation, and structural health monitoring
Desirable: Experience in experimental work in vibration and structural health monitoring, finite element simulations, and damage detection
