Research Fellow Positions under Avathon Physical AI Labs (Avathon Labs)

- Work with Avathon AI Center (Bangalore and US) on mathematical optimization and supply-chain problem modeling.
- Design, implement, and evaluate algorithms for real-world scale problems with correctness, convergence, and complexity guarantees.
- Maintain research software with version control, documentation, testing, and public release where permitted.
- Conduct experimental evaluations with honest baselines and transparent reporting of results.
- Publish research papers in peer-reviewed venues and present findings at group meetings and project reviews.
- Collaborate with scholars from other departments and mentor junior students and interns.
- Opportunity for PhD admission may be available for selected candidates.

- Four-year Bachelor’s degree or two-year Master’s degree with qualification in a national-level test such as GATE.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an IIT with a CGPA of 8.0 or above (national-level test requirement waived for IIT graduates).
- Machine Learning proficiency required.
- Deep Learning and Generative AI knowledge preferred.
- Mathematical Optimization knowledge preferred.
