- Conduct and publish high-quality research in financial economics, aligned with the Centre's goals.
- Supervise and mentor Research Associates, allocating and reviewing their work.
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of the Centre's research databases.
- Plan and coordinate the Centre's Annual Research Conference, Quarterly Workshops, and Seminar Series.
- Liaise with the Co-Chairs, Executive Committee, and Governing Council on Centre activities.
- Support reporting, documentation, and administrative coordination for the Centre.
- Opportunity to shape a new research centre from its early stages.
- Direct exposure to the Centre's Governing Council and Executive Committee.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- PhD (or equivalent doctoral qualification) in Finance, Economics, or a closely related field from a top-tier institution in India (e.g., IIMs, IITs, DSE, ISI, NIRF top 20 institutions in Economics and Management) or from abroad.
- Applicants who have recently submitted their thesis or are nearing completion of their PhD are also eligible. If selected, such candidates must submit their PhD degree certificate within six months of the date of appointment.
- Strong research record or demonstrated potential in asset pricing, corporate finance, market microstructure, or related areas of Microeconomics/Financial Economics, evidenced by working papers, publications, or conference presentations.
- Proficiency in econometric and statistical tools (e.g., R, Python, Stata, or similar) and comfort working with large financial and market datasets.
- Exposure to AI workflow design will be an added advantage.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage people, timelines, and multiple concurrent activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
