Scientist-D Positions at ICMR-National Institute of NCD Epidemiology

- Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is an autonomous organization under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
- ICMR conducts biomedical/health research across various areas in collaboration with national/international agencies through its headquarters in New Delhi and 28 institutes/centres nationwide.
- The recruitment is for two (02) Scientist-D positions at ICMR-National Institute of Non-Communicable Diseases Epidemiology (ICMR-NINE).
- Positions are available under Direct Recruitment with all-India transfer liability.
- The selected candidates will be appointed on a regular basis with usual allowances as per ICMR norms.

- Selection will be made based on a computer-based test (MCQs) or interview or both.
- The computer-based test, if conducted, will be of a qualifying nature and will assess understanding of research methods.

- Self-attested/attested copies of educational certificates from Matric onwards.
- Certificates of detailed marks obtained in educational courses.
- Date of Birth certificate.
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS, if applicable).
- Experience certificate issued by the Competent Authority of the concerned organization, clearly indicating duration, pay level, work profile, and other relevant details.
- Final degree certificate evidencing essential and desirable qualifications.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer (for candidates working in Government/PSUs/Govt. funded research agencies) with an undertaking that the applicant will be relieved within one month of receiving the appointment order.
- Passport-sized photograph (unattested, no cap/goggles, spectacles allowed).
