- Essential Qualification: Graduate Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent from a recognized university/institute.
- Desirable Qualification: Master’s or Higher Degree in Engineering/Technology.
- Eligibility Criteria: Must be retired from either:
- A DPSU at the pay scale of E-8/E-9 or equivalent Central Government Pay Level 13/14 and above, OR
- A Professor/Scientist from IITs, CSIR, DRDO, ISRO, or analogous posts in Central Government at Pay Level 13/14 and above.
- Vigilance Record: Must have a clear disciplinary/vigilance record at the time of retirement, supported by a declaration.
- Experience: Substantial experience in Defence Establishment, R&D, Technology Development, Engineering/Product Development, Project Management, Manufacturing/Production Technology, Indigenization/Value Engineering, Technology Transfer, Academic/Research Collaboration, Defence/Strategic Technologies, or allied domains in Defence Establishments, DPSUs, DRDO, or comparable organizations.
- Desirable Experience: Preference for candidates with experience in Defence R&D, DRDO/DPSUs/Defence Establishments, collaboration with IITs/IISc, management of sponsored research projects, technology development, prototyping, productization, technology transfer, coordination with DRDO, iDEX, Armed Forces, and government agencies.
