Engagement of staff on a contract basis for various projects under ICAR-NBSS&LUP, Nagpur.
Positions include Project/Field Assistant, Supporting Lab Staff, IT Assistant, and Junior Research Fellow (RS&GIS).
Projects include PoCRA, RIS (RGSTC), and D3, with durations ranging from 1 to 2 years.
Roles involve fieldwork, laboratory work, IT support, remote sensing, GIS, and soil carbon assessment.
Selected candidates will not be considered for regular appointments at ICAR-NBSS&LUP.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture/Engineering with over 2 years of experience for Project/Field Assistant (PoCRA).
Bachelor's degree in Science with over 2 years of laboratory experience for Supporting Lab Staff (PoCRA).
Master's degree in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/Land and Water Management with over 2 years of experience and hydrological modeling knowledge for IT Assistant (RIS Project).
B.Sc. (Agriculture)/Computer Science with over 2 years of experience for Project Assistant (IT/Field) (RIS Project).
B.Sc. (Agriculture)/B.E/B.Tech. (Electronics) with over 3 years of experience for Junior Research Fellow (RS&GIS) (D3 Project).
Postgraduate degree in Remote Sensing/Geoinformatics with minimum 1 year of experience in remote sensing data processing, GIS analysis, and thematic mapping for Junior Research Fellow (RS&GIS) (D3 Project).
Programming skills in R/Python are desirable for Junior Research Fellow (RS&GIS) (D3 Project).
Age limit: 40 years as of the interview date for all positions except Junior Research Fellow (RS&GIS), which is 21 to 35 years.
Age relaxation applicable as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
