- Master’s degree in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Genetics and Plant Breeding, or Biotechnology.
- Candidates with a 4/5-year bachelor’s degree are eligible directly.
- Candidates with a 3-year bachelor’s degree must possess UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent, or a Ph.D. as per ICAR guidelines.
- Maximum age limit: 35 years as on the cut-off date.
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST & women candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates.
