Tenure Based Chemical Process Worker (CPW) Personnel on Contract Basis

- Engagement as Tenure Based Chemical Process Worker (CPW) on contract basis for a period of 1 year, extendable up to 4 years based on factory requirements and individual performance.
- Job involves manufacturing and handling of explosives and hazardous chemicals at High Explosives Factory, Khadki, Pune, Maharashtra.
- Employment can be terminated at any time with 1 month's notice or payment of Basic Pay + DA in lieu of notice.
- Personnel may be deployed in night shifts during exigency of production work, with eligibility for Night Duty Allowance as per extant rules.
- Risk Allowance will be paid for similar work where regular employees are entitled.

- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
- Qualification: National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Attendant Operator Chemical Plant (AOCP) trade or feeder trades (IMCP, MMCP, LACP, PPO, Fitter General, Machinist, Turner, Sheet Metal Worker, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Boiler Attendant, Mechanic Industrial Electronics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic) from NCVT-affiliated institutions.
- Priority will be given to AOCP Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories, AOCP Trade Apprentices from Govt./Private organizations with Govt. affiliation, and candidates with 3 months training certificate (1 month in-house + 2 months on-job training) from MIL Group of Factories.
- Candidates from feeder trades without the 3-month training certificate will undergo 1 month in-house training followed by 2 months on-job training.
- Age limit: Maximum 40 years as of the last date of application receipt. Age relaxation applicable as per Government Reservation Rules (5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and period of military service + 3 years for Ex-SM).

- Selection will be based on marks scored in NAC (NCVT) mark sheet and Trade Test/Practical Test, with 80% weightage to NAC marks and 20% to Trade Test/Practical Test.
- Merit list will be prepared in the order of preference: (1) Ex-apprentices of AOCP trade trained in Ordnance Factories under MIL, (2) AOCP trade apprentices from DoO (C&S) other than MIL Group and Govt./Private organizations with Govt. affiliation, (3) Candidates with 3 months training certificate from MIL Group of Factories, (4) Trade apprentices from feeder trades.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification in the order of merit.
- Performance of tenure-based personnel will be evaluated half-yearly, with termination possible for poor performance after 3 months' notice.

- 3 months Training certificate in 'Safe Handling of explosives, ammunitions' from MIL Group of Factories (if available).
- Experience Certificate (if applicable).
- Self-attested copy of Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS) in prescribed proforma.
- Declaration by OBC/Ex-SM candidates (Appendix-I/II).
- Consent/Undertaking by candidates other than AOCP Trade (Appendix-III).
- Two copies of self-attested photographs (one pasted on application form and one extra).
