- Walk-in-interviews for temporary faculty and resident positions in Government Medical College, Mahabubnagar, and affiliated hospitals under the Director of Medical Education, Telangana.
- Positions include Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Tutors, and Junior Residents for various medical specialties.
- Contract appointments are purely temporary, valid up to 31.03.2027 or until regular appointments are made, whichever is earlier.
- Selected candidates must join duty by 30.09.2026.
- Consolidated monthly remuneration ranges from Rs. 46,000 for Junior Residents to Rs. 1,90,000 for Professors.

- For Professor: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject with 3 years of teaching experience as Associate Professor in a recognized medical institution, 2 research publications, and completion of Basic Course in Biomedical Research and Medical Education.
- For Associate Professor: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject with 4 years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor (or 5 years for direct appointment in Government Medical Institution), 2 research publications, and completion of Basic Course in Biomedical Research and Medical Education.
- For Assistant Professor: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject with 1 year of Senior Resident experience in a recognized medical institution (or equivalent experience for Armed Forces personnel or non-teaching consultants).
- For Tutor and Junior Resident: MBBS or equivalent degree registered with Telangana Medical Council.
- Maximum age limit: 69 years for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor; 45 years for Tutors and Junior Residents as of 03.09.2026.
- Candidates from outside Telangana must register their qualifications with Telangana State Medical Council within one week of selection.

- Selection based on marks obtained in MD/MS/DNB for Assistant Professor posts, MBBS marks for Tutors and Junior Residents, and teaching experience duration for Professor and Associate Professor posts.
- First preference given to local candidates; if unavailable, candidates from other states will be considered.
- Selection criteria as per TEQ Regulations 2025 of the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Selected candidates must submit relieving order from their previous institute; failure results in cancellation of selection.
