- Burari Hospital is a 768-bedded government hospital in Delhi, functioning as a dedicated COVID hospital since 2020 and general non-COVID services since 2022.
- The hospital is well-equipped with a 50-bedded ICU, state-of-the-art OTs, laboratories, and dedicated oxygen supply.
- Senior Residents will be appointed on an ad-hoc basis for a period of 44 days or until a regular candidate joins, extendable up to 3 years based on satisfactory performance.
- Appointment is governed under the Residency Scheme of the Government of NCT of Delhi.
- Contract can be terminated by either party with a one-month notice period without assigning any reason.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: MBBS with Postgraduate degree/DNB/Diploma or equivalent in the concerned specialty from a recognized university/institute on the day of interview.
- In case of non-availability of MD/DNB certificate, candidates with 2 years of experience in the concerned department will be considered for the post on an ad-hoc basis.
- Must not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency at any recognized institute (regular or ad-hoc basis).
- Age limit: Maximum 45 years as of the date of interview (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates of Delhi only).
- Must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) on or before the day of interview with a valid DMC certificate or applied for receipt of PG Degree/Diploma DMC certificate.
- OBC candidates must possess a valid Delhi OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate issued in the current financial year.
⚙️ Selection Process
- Selection will be purely based on merit list prepared from the walk-in interview.
- Candidates must report to the Office of Medical Director, Burari Hospital, between 9 AM and 11 AM on the scheduled interview date for document verification with originals.
- Entry will be allowed only up to 11 AM.
- In case of a holiday on the scheduled interview date, the interview will be shifted to the next working day as decided by the Medical Director.
- A panel of waitlisted candidates will be prepared for future vacancies, valid for 6 months or until a fresh selection process is conducted.
