Various Teaching Positions on Contract Basis

- Recruitment for 61 teaching positions on a contractual basis at Government Medical College and General Hospital, Narayanpet, under the Director of Medical Education, Telangana.
- Positions include Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Tutors, and Critical Care Specialists (CAS) in various medical departments.
- Contract period valid until 31.03.2027 or until regular posts are filled, whichever is earlier.
- Selected candidates must render services during national health emergencies as per institutional requirements.

- For Professor: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject with 3 years of Associate Professor experience in a recognized medical institution, 2 research publications as first/second author, and completion of Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR).
- For Associate Professor: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject with 4 years of Assistant Professor experience (5 years for direct appointees in Government medical institutions), 2 research publications as first/second author, and BCBR completion.
- For Assistant Professor: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject with 1 year of Senior Resident experience in a recognized medical institution or equivalent experience as per regulations.
- For Tutor: MBBS degree with registration in Telangana Medical Council.
- For CAS Specialist: MD/DNB/Diploma in the concerned specialty (e.g., General Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine).
- Candidates must be registered with the Telangana State Medical Council (TSMC) or obtain registration within one week of selection.
- Maximum age limit: Below 69 years for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor posts.
- Preference given to candidates from Narayanpet District and erstwhile Mahabubnagar District, subject to eligibility.

- Selection based on merit, considering theory marks in qualifying examinations, teaching experience, and other criteria as per NMC regulations.
- Walk-in-interview scheduled for 02.09.2026 at the Office of the Principal, Government Medical College, Narayanpet.
- Interview timings: 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM.
- Results to be declared on 10.09.2026.
- Selected candidates must join duty by 18.09.2026.

- Relieving Order from previous institution (if applicable).
- Two sets of self-attested photocopies of all documents and two recent passport-size photographs.
