Various Faculty Positions (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor & Senior Resident) on Contract Basis

- Walk-in-interviews scheduled for 11.09.2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Office of the Principal, Government Medical College, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad.
- Positions are on a contract basis up to 31.03.2027 or until regular posts are filled or need ceases, whichever is earlier.
- Selected candidates will be paid consolidated monthly remuneration as per GO. Rt. No. 1276 Finance (HRM. VII) Department dated 16th July 2026.
- Faculty will be under administrative control of the institute and may be utilized in any manner required by the competent authority without additional remuneration.
- Contract is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning reasons; selected faculty may also terminate with one month prior notice.

- For Professor: Must be an Associate Professor for 3 years in a recognized medical institution, have published at least 2 research papers (first three authors), completed Basic Course in Biomedical Research, and Basic Course in Medical Education.
- For Associate Professor: Must be an Assistant Professor for 4 years (or 5 years if directly appointed in Government medical institution), have published at least 2 research papers (first three authors), completed Basic Course in Biomedical Research, and Basic Course in Medical Education.
- For Assistant Professor: Must have 1 year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject or 2 years as a non-teaching Consultant/Specialist/Medical Officer in a 220-bedded Government hospital.
- For Senior Resident: Must have a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) or MSc with PhD in relevant subjects; upper age limit is 45 years (50 years for Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine).
- All candidates must possess MBBS and additional qualification registered with Telangana State Medical Council.
- Non-local candidates must register their qualifications with Telangana State Medical Council within one week of selection for appointment confirmation.

- Selection will be based on merit, duration of teaching experience, and interview performance.
- For Professor and Associate Professor, duration of teaching experience in the respective cadre and total teaching experience will be considered.

- Senior Resident Experience Certificate (if applicable for Assistant Professor).
- Copies of publications with proof of indexation.
- Community Certificate (if applicable).
- Physically Handicapped Certificate (if applicable).
- Recent passport-size color photograph.
