Trainee Project Executive (Various Disciplines) on Contract Basis

- Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) invites applications for Trainee Project Executive positions on a contract basis for 2 years, extendable up to 1 additional year.
- Positions are available in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Finance, and Naval Architecture disciplines.
- GSL is a Schedule ‘A’ Mini Ratna Category I Company under the Ministry of Defence, engaged in shipbuilding and repair for the Indian Navy, Coast Guard, and international clients.
- The posting may be at GSL or any of its units/project sites across India or abroad, with candidates liable for transfer as per organizational requirements.

- Full-time regular (B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering) in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Naval Architecture from a recognized university/institute.
- For Finance discipline: Graduate with Chartered Accountant qualification from ICAI, Cost Accountant from ICMAI, or PG Diploma/PG Degree in Finance.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience or 1 year of Graduate Apprenticeship training as of 31.07.2026 (post-qualification experience only).
- Apprenticeship in any industry is considered as experience.
- Upper age limit as of 31.07.2026: 28 years (UR/EWS), 31 years (OBC), 33 years (SC/ST).
- Age relaxation for PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and GSL apprentices as per Government guidelines.

- Selection involves a Written Test (85% weightage), Group Discussion/Interview (15% weightage).
- Written Test: 25% General Aptitude, 75% subject-related questions. Minimum 40% marks required for General/EWS candidates; 35% for SC/ST/PwBD/OBC(NCL).
- Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on written test performance (1:5 ratio) must produce original documents.
- Group Discussion/Interview: Minimum 40% marks required for General/EWS; 35% for SC/ST/PwBD/OBC.
- Final grading is based on combined performance in Written Test and Group Discussion/Interview.

- Candidate’s signature (scanned copy, <450 KB).
- SSC certificate (proof of date of birth, <500 KB).
- Educational qualification mark sheets and degree certificates (<1 MB).
- Caste/Disability certificate (<500 KB).
- Experience certificates (<1 MB).
- Aadhar Card (<500 KB).

- Application fee: INR 500 (non-refundable) for General/OBC candidates.
- Exemptions: SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/GSL graduate apprentices/GSL advance trainees (present or past) are exempt from payment.
