- Senior Deckhand-cum-Cook: 10th standard pass from a recognized board with 5 years of experience as a cook, preferably on a vessel or fishing vessel.
- Carpenter: SSLC or equivalent with ITI Certificate or equivalent in Carpentry Trade.
- Machinist: SSLC, SSC or equivalent with ITI Certificate in Machinist trade.
- Welder: SSLC, SSC or equivalent with ITI Certificate in Welding trade.
- Minimum age: 18 years, Maximum age: 30 years (age relaxation up to 5 years for government servants).
- Carpenter: SSLC or equivalent with ITI Certificate or equivalent in Carpentry Trade.
- Machinist: SSLC, SSC or equivalent with ITI Certificate in Machinist trade.
- Welder: SSLC, SSC or equivalent with ITI Certificate in Welding trade.
