Senior Resident and Super Specialist Senior Resident Posts

- Walk-in recruitment for 41 contractual posts of Senior Resident and Super Specialist Senior Resident at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Bihta, Patna.
- Fixed basic pay of ₹67,700 per month with no PF, pension, gratuity, or other regular employee benefits.
- Contractual appointment for 1 year, renewable subject to performance and institutional requirements.
- No private practice allowed after joining; compulsory on-site casualty duty for General Medicine, General Surgery, and Orthopaedics Senior Residents.
- Accommodation available on campus; mutual exchange of HRA with accommodation not allowed until accommodation is available.

- MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized university.
- For TB & Chest departments, MD/DNB in Pulmonary Medicine, Chest Medicine, or Respiratory Medicine is also eligible.
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration certificate (updated) is mandatory.
- Candidates awaiting final PG results may apply but must produce the passing certificate before the interview.
- Candidates appearing for the Final Year PG Exam in September 2026 may apply but must produce the certificate before the offer of appointment.
- Date for eligibility of qualifying degree/experience is reckoned as of the date of interview.

- Selection is purely based on credentials and performance in the walk-in interview before the Selection Board.
- No written exam or CBT; selection is provisional and subject to detailed scrutiny of eligibility criteria.
- Results will be displayed on www.mcpatna.esic.gov.in and www.esic.gov.in (Recruitment Section).
- Offer of Appointment will be sent by email.
- The Dean, ESIC MCH, Bihta, reserves the right to cancel or postpone the recruitment process at any stage.

- All mark sheets, attempt certificates, and degree certificates of MBBS.

- NMC/State Medical Council Registration Certificate (updated).
- Copies of publications/training/attendance at conferences, workshops, or seminars, if any.
- Aadhaar Card/Voter Card/PAN Card (any 2 of the 3).
- NOC from current employer, if applicable.
- Relieving certificate from previous employer, if applicable.
- Experience certificate, if applicable.

- ₹500 for candidates other than SC/ST/ESIC regular employees/Female/Ex-Servicemen/PH.
- Nil application fee for SC/ST/ESIC regular employees/Female/Ex-Servicemen/PH candidates.
