- Eligibility Criteria for Deputation (ISTC):
- Officers must be holding an analogous post on a regular basis in their parent cadre or department, or
- Officers with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment on a regular basis in a post with Pay Band-3 of Rs. 15,600-39,100 with grade pay of Rs. 6,600 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.
- Educational Qualification (Essential):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute, or
- Associate Membership of the Institute of Engineering in Civil Engineering (AMIE).
- Experience (Essential):
- Ten years’ experience in the relevant field of Engineering in the Government Sector.
- Desirable: Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
- Note: Candidates with AMIE degree enrolled up to 31 May 2013 are also eligible.
- Age Limit: Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
- Feeder Category Officers: Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation.
- Deputationists: Officers already on deputation shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
