- ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Andheri East, Mumbai, invites applications for 76 contract-based posts including Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Resident, and Tutor.
- Engagement is on a contract basis for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years or until the candidate attains 68 years of age, whichever is earlier.
- Selected candidates must join as per the instructions in the offer of appointment; failure to join within the prescribed time may result in the offer being issued to a waitlisted candidate.
- No service benefits such as PF, pension, gratuity, medical allowance, or promotion will be admissible under this contract.
- Faculty must mark attendance manually and via Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) daily.
- Private practice is strictly prohibited after joining as teaching faculty or Senior Resident.

- For Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Tutor posts: Maximum age limit is 68 years as on the date of interview.
- For Senior Resident post: Maximum age limit is 45 years as on the date of interview.
- Candidates must hold MBBS/MD/MS/DNB/PG Diploma qualifications as applicable to the post, with updated NMC/State Medical Council registration.
- Candidates without updated registration must submit a copy of the 'applied for' document at the time of interview.
- Experience and teaching norms must comply with the latest NMC Gazette notification (dated 30.06.2025 or 30.06.2026 as per the notification).

- Selection is based on academic credentials and performance in the interview before the Selection Board.
- The final result, including the waiting list, will be published only on the official website (www.esic.gov.in/recruitments).
- The Offer of Appointment will be sent via email only.

General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD (as per Government of India guidelines)

- Certificate of passing Class 10th (for Date of Birth verification).
- All mark sheets, attempt details, and degree certificates of MBBS.

- Valid EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PwD certificate in Central Government format (where applicable).
- Updated State/NMC Medical Registration Certificate.
- Proof of publication(s) and experience certificate.
- Recent passport-size photograph.
- Relieving/NOC certificate from previous or current employer (if applicable).
- Aadhaar card.
- Completion certificate of ICMR/NMC-approved Basic Course in Biomedical Research (if any).
- NMC-approved Revised Basic Course Workshop/Basic Course in Medical Education Workshop certificate (if any).

- UR/OBC candidates: Rs. 500/- via Demand Draft in favour of 'ESI Fund Account No.1', payable at Mumbai.
- SC/ST, ESIC regular employees, female candidates, defence ex-servicemen, and PwD candidates: No application fee.
