Faculty and Senior Resident Posts on Contractual Basis

- ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad-38 is conducting a walk-in interview for 67 contractual posts under Advertisement No. 02/2026 dated 18.08.2026.
- Posts include Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Senior Resident across 28 specialties.
- Initial contract duration is 1 year, extendable up to 3 years or until the candidate reaches 70 years of age (for Faculty posts).
- Selected candidates must deposit a security deposit of ₹1,00,000/- at the time of joining, subject to forfeiture under specific conditions.
- No private practice is permitted during the tenure of service in ESIC.

- For Faculty posts (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor): Maximum age limit is 69 years as on the date of the walk-in interview.
- For Senior Resident posts: Maximum age limit is 45 years as on the date of the walk-in interview.
- Academic qualifications must comply with the Medical Institutions (Qualifications of Faculty) Regulations 2025 issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Specific transition-period qualification pathways are provided for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) and Critical Care Medicine (ICU) specialties.
- Candidates with experience as Associate Professor/Assistant Professor may apply for higher posts, but will be appointed at the lower pay scale if no eligible candidate at the required experience level applies.

- Selection is based on performance in a personal interview conducted by the Selection Board.
- Interview dates are fixed specialty-wise and cannot be changed (24.08.2026 to 31.08.2026).
- Candidates must report between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM on their scheduled interview date; latecomers will not be permitted.
- Results will be displayed on the official ESIC website (esic.gov.in).
- Selected candidates must join immediately upon receiving the offer; failure to do so will result in cancellation of the appointment.

- Duly filled application form in the prescribed format (available on esic.gov.in/recruitments).
- Two self-attested passport-size photographs.
- Self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials (age, qualification, experience, research papers/publications).
- Original certificates for verification at the time of the walk-in interview.
- Payment receipt of the application fee (if applicable) via SB Collect online payment system at the venue.

- No application fee for SC/ST candidates, female candidates, ex-servicemen, and physically handicapped (PH) candidates.
- ₹500/- application fee for all other categories, payable online via SB Collect at the venue during registration/document verification.
