Specialist, Super Specialist & Senior Resident Posts on Contractual Basis

- Recruitment for 47 contractual posts at ESIC Model Hospital, Katha, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
- Posts include 13 Specialist (Full Time/Part Time), 29 Senior Resident, 1 Super Specialist (Cardiology), and 4 Senior Resident (Against GDMO).
- Engagement period: one year, extendable up to three years subject to approval and satisfactory performance.
- No service benefits such as PF, pension, gratuity, medical allowance, seniority, promotion, or leave are admissible.
- Selected candidates must pay a security deposit of Rs. 50,000 via Demand Draft at the time of joining, refundable after contract completion.

- For Specialist posts: PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty with 3 years' experience after PG or 5 years after Diploma.
- For Senior Resident posts: PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty; non-PG candidates require 2 years of working experience in the concerned department.
- For Super Specialist (Cardiology): Post-Graduation in Cardiology with DM/M.Ch in Cardiology and MCI/State Medical Council registration.
- For Senior Resident (Against GDMO): MBBS Degree or PG Degree/Diploma with 2 years of working experience in the same discipline.
- Maximum age limit: Less than 69 years for Specialist/Super Specialist posts; not exceeding 45 years for Senior Resident posts (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per rules).

- Selection is based on a walk-in interview conducted by an Interview Board at the Office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital, Katha, Baddi.
- Decision of the Interview Board is final; no further correspondence will be entertained.
- Selection is subject to medical fitness verification and successful verification of character and antecedents.

All (UR, SC, ST, OBC, EWS)

- Age proof (e.g., Matriculation Certificate).
- MBBS Certificate.
- Two recent passport-size photographs.
- Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates (OBC certificate must be in Central Government format, not older than one year).
- PG Degree/Diploma Certificate/DM/M.Ch Certificate (as applicable).
- State Medical Council/MCI Registration Certificate with MS/MD/DNB qualification (for Senior Resident and Specialist posts) or DM qualification (for Super Specialist post).
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer, if applicable.
- Experience Certificate, if applicable.
- Income and Asset Certificate for EWS category candidates as per DOPT guidelines.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance policy covering the engagement period (minimum sum assured: Rs. 30 lakhs for Anaesthesiologists/Cardiac Surgeons/Neuro Surgeons/Plastic Surgeons; Rs. 20 lakhs for General Surgeons/Gynaecologists/Obstetricians; Rs. 10 lakhs for Physicians/Radiologists/Chest Physicians).
