ESIC Teaching Faculty & Senior Resident Recruitment 2026

- Recruitment drive by ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Margao, Goa, for 107 posts in teaching and senior resident roles.
- Positions include Professor (15), Associate Professor (21), Assistant Professor (36), and Senior Resident (35).
- Engagement is purely contractual for 1 year, renewable subject to performance and institute requirements.
- Selected Senior Residents in General Medicine, General Surgery, and Orthopedics must perform compulsory on-site duty in Casualty.
- No service benefits such as PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, or Promotion are admissible to contractual employees.
- Selected Senior Residents must deposit a Security Deposit of ₹20,000/- at the time of joining, forfeitable if resignation occurs within 1 year.

- Teaching Faculty (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor): Maximum age 69 years as on 31.08.2026, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Senior Resident (Clinical Subjects): Maximum age 44 years as on 31.08.2026, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Senior Resident (Non-Clinical/Laboratory Science Subjects): Maximum age 49 years as on 31.08.2026, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Qualification: MBBS/MD/MS/DNB/PG Diploma as per NMC (MCI) Teacher Eligibility Qualifications (TEQ) for the applicable post and discipline.
- Emergency Medicine: Candidates with PG qualification in Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, Orthopedics, Chest/Respiratory Medicine, or Pulmonology are eligible.
- ICU (Assistant Professor): Candidates with PG qualification in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Anesthesiology, Chest Medicine, or Internal Medicine are eligible.
- One year of Senior Residency experience from a teaching institute after PG qualification is required for entry-level Faculty positions; no experience required after PG for Senior Resident posts.
- Candidates with a post-doctoral qualification are not required to have separate post-PG senior residency experience for Assistant Professor posts.

- Selection is based on academic credentials and performance in an interview before the Selection Board.
- Interview dates are department-wise: 01.09.2026 (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, FMT, Pharmacology, Pediatrics), 02.09.2026 (Community Medicine, Pathology, Transfusion Medicine, Eye, ENT, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Statistics), and 03.09.2026 (Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Orthopedics, ICU, Radiology, Dentistry, Chest Medicine, Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine).

- Candidates opting for walk-in interview must report directly to the Conference Room, 1st Floor, ESIC Hospital, Margao, Goa, between 09:00 AM and 10:30 AM on the scheduled date.

- Valid EWS/OBC/SC/ST/Divyangjan Certificate (issued in Central Government job format), where applicable.
- State/NMC Medical Registration Certificate (updated).
- Experience Certificate & Proof of Publication(s).
- Relieving Certificate from previous Employer, if applicable.
- Aadhaar Card.
- Completion Certificate of ICMR/NMC conducted Bio-medical research examination, if any.
- NMC appeared Revised/Basic Medical Education Workshop Completion Certificate, if any.
- Demand Draft for application fee (if applicable), payable to ESI Fund Account No. 2, State Bank of India, Panjim, Goa.

- ₹500/- for General/OBC/EWS candidates, payable via Demand Draft in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 2, payable at State Bank of India, Panjim, Goa.
