B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution (mandatory for TGT posts).
CTET Paper-II qualification (mandatory for TGT posts; State TET may be considered where permitted under NESTS guidelines).
For Music Teacher: Bachelor’s Degree in Music/Performing Arts or equivalent with Music as principal/special subject.
For Fine Art/Art Teacher: Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts/Drawing & Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Arts/Visual Art or equivalent.
For Physical Education Teacher: B.P.Ed./Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or equivalent with prescribed professional qualification under NESTS norms.
