- B.Ed degree in the teaching subject from a recognized university/institution as per UGC guidelines is mandatory.
- Must have studied the relevant subject as an elective in Graduation for a minimum of 3 years.
- Minimum age: 18 years; maximum age: 37 years as on 1 January 2026 (age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per Punjab government rules).
