Technician (Skilled & Semi-Skilled) Group 'C' Posts

- Direct recruitment for 07 vacancies in Group 'C' Non-Ministerial, Industrial posts under the Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA), Ministry of Defence.
- Positions include Technician (Skilled) and Technician (Semi-Skilled) roles.
- Posts are distributed across multiple locations including Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Jabalpur, and Chandigarh.
- Selected candidates will be initially appointed on probation for two years and may be posted anywhere in India, including remote or field locations.
- Candidates must be medically fit and free from physical deformities that could hinder job performance.

- Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
- Educational Qualification for Technician (Skilled):
- Matriculation (10th class pass) from a recognized board or equivalent.
- ITI Certificate in the specified trade or equivalent.
- One year of experience in the specified trade from a recognized organization.
- Educational Qualification for Technician (Semi-Skilled):
- ITI pass in any trade or equivalent Defence Services Tradesman course approved by the Central or State Government.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 27 years as on the application closing date.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years (only for vacancies reserved for SC/ST).
- OBC: 3 years (only for vacancies reserved for OBC).
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years (General/UR), 6 years (OBC), or 8 years (SC/ST) after deducting military service.
- Departmental candidates: Up to 40 years (UR), 43 years (OBC), or 45 years (SC/ST) with minimum 3 years of continuous service.
- Candidates must possess valid caste certificates (if applicable) issued by competent authorities.
- Candidates working in Central Government services must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
- Candidates must not have any pending criminal cases or moral turpitude charges.
- Candidates must not have been dismissed or removed from any previous employment.

- Selection will be based on a written test followed by a trade test.
- Written test will be objective type (Multiple Choice Questions) with no negative marking.
- Written test covers: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language & Comprehension, and Numerical Aptitude.
- Duration of the written test is 90 minutes.
- Shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for a trade test (100 marks).
- Minimum qualifying marks in the trade test: 40 marks.
- No interview will be conducted.
- Final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written test and trade test.
- In case of a tie in marks, preference will be given to older candidates, followed by higher marks in Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Awareness.
- Selected candidates will be appointed provisionally subject to verification of documents and medical fitness.

UR, OBC, SC, ST

- Duly completed application form in the prescribed format (Appendix 'A').
- Self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates.
- Self-attested copy of Date of Birth Certificate (10th/Matriculation or equivalent).
- Self-attested copy of caste certificate (if applicable) issued by competent authority.
- Self-attested copy of Aadhaar Card.
- One self-addressed envelope with a stamp of Rs. 55/- for admit card dispatch.
- Three recent passport-sized photographs (one affixed on the application form and two on the admit card).
- For candidates working in Government services: No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer.
- Candidates with additional qualifications must mention them in the application form.

- No application fee is mentioned for any category in the notification.
