- Only for serving eligible government employees (central government only).
- For Department of Posts employees: Must be regular Dispatch Riders (Group-C) or MTS (Group-C) in Pay Matrix Level-1 (Rs.18,000-56,900) with a valid driving license for Light and Heavy Motor Vehicles.
- For employees from other ministries: Must hold a regular Group-C post in Pay Matrix Level-1 (Rs.18,000-56,900) with:
- Valid driving license for Light and Heavy Motor Vehicles.
- Knowledge of motor mechanism (ability to handle minor vehicle defects).
- Minimum 3 years of experience driving Light and Heavy Motor Vehicles.
- Pass in 10th standard from a recognized board.
- Desirable: 3 years of service as Home Guard or Civil Volunteer.
- For armed forces personnel: Must be due for retirement or transfer to reserve within one year, with requisite qualifications and experience.
- Maximum age limit: 56 years as on the closing date of application receipt.
