Project Staff on DBT Sponsored Research Project

Recruitment for Project Staff under a DBT (Department of Biotechnology) sponsored research project at Mizoram University.
Positions are temporary and project-based, with funding duration aligned to the research project timeline.
Project staff will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) of the DBT-sponsored research project.

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Life Sciences, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, or related fields) from a recognized university.
Minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the qualifying degree is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior research experience in biotechnology, environmental science, or allied fields.
Candidates with NET/GATE/JRF qualification or prior project experience will be given preference.
Age limit: Maximum 35 years as on 17th August 2026 (relaxation applicable as per government norms).

Selection will be based on academic qualifications, research experience, and performance in an interview.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview via email or official communication.
Final selection will be subject to approval by the DBT project committee and Mizoram University authorities.
