- For JRF (Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences): M.Pharm/M.S(Pharm)/M.Tech(Pharm)/M.Tech in Pharmaceutics/Pharmacology & Toxicology/Pharmaceutical Chemistry or MSc (with NET) in Chemistry.
- For JRF (Life Sciences): MSc in Zoology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences with NET.
- For JRF (Biochemistry): MSc in Biochemistry with NET.
- For RA: PhD in Microbiology (desirable: specialization in Agriculture Microbiology/Soil Microbiology).
- Candidates must possess degree/provisional degree certificates.
- Candidates currently employed in government departments/PSUs/autonomous bodies must apply through proper channels and submit NOC from their employer.
- Candidates who have previously received DRDO fellowship/associateship are not eligible to apply.
