Project Associate - I Recruitment 2026

- CSIR National Institute of Oceanography (CSIR NIO) invites applications for 2 contractual positions of Project Associate - I.
- Selected candidates will be engaged in research projects under the institute's chemistry division.
- Job location is Goa at the CSIR NIO campus.
- The appointment is purely on a contractual basis for a fixed duration.

- Candidates must hold an M.Sc. degree in one of the following disciplines: Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Metallurgy, Organic Chemistry, or Environmental Chemistry.
- NET/GATE qualification is mandatory for eligibility.
- In the absence of NET/GATE qualified candidates, applications without these qualifications may be considered, with a reduced stipend of Rs. 25,000 plus HRA.

- Selection will be based on academic merit and interview performance as per CSIR NIO recruitment norms.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email/official website for further process.
