- Essential qualification: M.Sc. / Integrated Masters in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Bioinformatics/Virology/Microbiology/Molecular Biology) from a recognized University.
- OR M.E./M.Tech/Integrated Masters in Engineering or Technology (Biotechnology/Bioinformatics) from a recognized University.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial/Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations.
- Preference for experience in bacteriophage culture, genomics, field work, sampling, bioinformatics analysis of genomic data, and microbiological assays.
- Candidates with CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship) or GATE, or national-level examinations conducted by DBT/DST/equivalent agencies, will receive higher emoluments.
- Upper age limit: 35 years as on the last date of receipt of applications (27th August 2026).
- Candidates awaiting final semester results, Ph.D. submission, or with provisional certificates are not eligible.
