- For Engineering Graduate (BE/B.Tech): Degree in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university, completed within the last 5 years.
- For Diploma Engineering: Three-year diploma in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution, completed within the last 5 years.
- For Non-Engineering Graduate (BA, BSc, B.Com, BCA): Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, completed within the last 5 years.
- For ITI Candidates: ITI qualification in relevant trade from a recognized board, completed within the last 5 years.
- Candidates must register on NATS 2.0 (for Diploma/Graduate) or NAPS (for ITI) portal within 5 years of passing their qualifying examination.
- Candidates must not have prior work experience of 1 year or more or have undergone apprenticeship training elsewhere.
- Candidates must not have completed 5 years after passing their qualifying examination.
