- CSIR-CMERI Centre of Excellence for Farm Machinery (CoEFM) is inviting applications for project-based positions under various R&D projects focused on Smart Farm Machines and Technologies.
- Selected candidates will receive hands-on training and exposure to cutting-edge laboratories and project work.
- The tenure for these positions is co-terminus with the project or up to a maximum of 6 years, whichever is earlier.
- Walk-in interviews will be conducted on 02nd September 2026 at CSIR-CMERI CoEFM, Ludhiana.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- For Senior Project Associate (P601): Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Agricultural/Mechatronics/Computer Science/Electronics Engineering with 3 years of R&D experience OR Master’s/Integrated Master’s in the same fields with 2 years of R&D experience.
- For Project Associate-II (P602, P603): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/Information Technology/Mechanical/Agricultural/Mechatronics Engineering with 2 years of R&D experience OR Master’s/Integrated Master’s in relevant fields.
- For Project Associate-I (P604, P606): Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Agricultural/Mechatronics Engineering.
- For Project Assistant-II (P605): 3-year Diploma in Agricultural/Mechanical Engineering.
- Desirable skills include proficiency in CAD/CAE tools, mechanical design, programming (C/C++/Python), AI applications in agriculture, and knowledge of agricultural machinery development.
- Candidates with prior engagement in CSIR-CMERI or other CSIR labs for 6+ years are ineligible.
