- For Project Associate – I (PAT-I): Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Technology or M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology.
- For Project Associate – I (PAT-I): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Science/AI&ML/Data Science or MCA or M.Sc. in Computer Science.
- For Project Associate – II (PAT-II): M.Tech. in Food Technology/Food Processing Technology/Food Safety and Quality Management or M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology/Food Science/Food Technology/Food Science and Nutrition/Food Processing Technology with 2 years of R&D experience.
- Candidates must have completed their essential qualifications with declared results (final semester/awaited results are not eligible).
- Maximum age limit: 35 years as of 12.08.2026 (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women and 3 years for OBC).
- Candidates with 6+ years of total project staff experience in CSIR labs are ineligible.
