- Recruitment drive by CSIR-NAL for 6 Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) positions under Advertisement No. 11/2026.
- Offline application process with no online submission option.
- Job location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (transferable to any CSIR lab in India).
- Selected candidates will be on probation for 2 years from the date of joining.
- Post carries All India Service Liability (AISL), requiring potential transfers across India.

- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Minimum age: 18 years as on the closing date of application submission.
- Maximum age: 25 years for UR candidates (relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government norms).
- Must have passed SSC/10th Standard from a recognized Board or Institution.
- Age relaxation details: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (NCL) (3 years), PwBD (10-15 years depending on category), Ex-Servicemen (3 years), Widows/Divorced Women (up to 35-40 years).

- Selection is based on an OMR-based objective type multiple-choice written examination.
- Examination conducted only in Bengaluru.
- Medium of questions: English, Hindi, and Kannada (except English Language section, which is in English only).
- Total questions: 150, divided into General Intelligence (25), Quantitative Aptitude (25), General Awareness (50), and English Language (50).
- Each correct answer carries 3 marks; 1 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
- Merit list prepared based on exam performance.
- Tie resolution: Fewer negative marks, older date of birth, earlier acquisition of essential qualification, and alphabetical order of first names.

General, OBC (NCL), SC, ST, EWS

- Demand Draft of ₹500/- (where applicable), drawn in favor of 'The Director, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories,' payable at Bengaluru.
- Recent passport-size color photograph affixed on the application form.
- Signature of the candidate in the prescribed space.
- Self-attested copies of SSLC/10th Standard Certificate/Mark Sheet (as proof of date of birth) and mark sheets of all prescribed educational qualifications.
- Self-attested copy of the latest SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman certificate (where applicable).
- For widows/divorced/judicially separated women claiming age relaxation: court judgment/decree copy with an affidavit of not having remarried.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Vigilance Clearance from the employer (for candidates already working in CSIR/Government/Autonomous bodies).
- School Leaving Certificate showing name and date of birth (if not shown in SSLC/Matriculation certificate).
- Self-attested copy of a valid Government-issued photo ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, etc.).

- Application fee: ₹500/- (non-refundable), payable only via Demand Draft.
- Demand Draft must be drawn in favor of 'The Director, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories,' payable at Bengaluru.
- Candidate's name and father's name must be written on the back of the DD.
- Exempted categories: SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, and women candidates.
- Fee once paid is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against any other recruitment process.
