Various Internship Positions under Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS)

- Nine (9) months internship training under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) at Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a Miniratna Schedule ‘A’ Company of the Government of India.
- Internship opportunities available across multiple disciplines including ITI trades, SSLC, HSE/ITI, Diploma, Graduation, and Post Graduation categories.
- Stipend ranges from ₹11,000 to ₹13,000 per month, including Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) by the Government of India.
- No travel expenses, boarding, or lodging provided by CSL during the internship period.
- Selection is provisional and subject to verification of original certificates, medical fitness, and meeting all eligibility criteria.

- Age limit: 18 to 25 years as on the date of application.
- For ITI Trades (I.A): Pass in Xth standard and pass in ITI (National Trade Certificate - NTC).
- For SSLC (I.B): Pass in Xth standard.
- For HSE/ITI (I.C): Pass in XIIth standard or ITI (NTC).
- For Diploma (I.D): Diploma in Engineering or Technology in relevant discipline granted by a State Council, Board of Technical Education, University, or recognized institution.
- For Graduation (I.E): Graduation (BA/BSc/BCom/BBA/BCA etc.) in any discipline except performing arts/B.Tech.
- For Post Graduation (I.F): MA Hindi or MA Hindi with Translation.
- Ineligible candidates: Graduates/Postgraduates from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NIDs, IIITs, IISc, CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MBA, MPhil, PhD, or those undergoing any government skill/apprenticeship/training program.
- Family income must not exceed ₹12 lakh in the preceding financial year.
- No family member should be a permanent/regular government employee.

- Shortlisting based on percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification for the respective trade/discipline.
- In case of equal marks, seniority in age will decide relative merit.
- Shortlisted candidates will receive an offer of internship via the PMIS portal and must appear for certificate verification on the specified date.
- Verification includes original certificates for age, qualification, caste, disability (if any), and self-attested copies.
- Provisional induction subject to medical fitness and successful verification of all documents.
- No travel expenses admissible for certificate verification or during the internship period.

- Self-attested copies of all the above certificates.
- Equivalency Certificate (if applicable) for candidates with qualifications equivalent to prescribed ones.
- Correctly entered marks in the application form (discrepancies may lead to rejection).
