Graduate & Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeship Training

- Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a Mini Ratna Schedule ‘A’ Government of India company, invites online applications from eligible candidates for one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
- Only candidates domiciled in Kerala and who passed their qualifying exams during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible to apply.
- Total of 139 training seats available across Graduate and Diploma categories.
- No travel expenses, boarding, or lodging will be provided by CSL during the apprenticeship period.
- Selected candidates will not have any claim to employment with CSL upon completion of the apprenticeship.

- **Graduate Apprentices (Category-I):** Degree in Engineering/Technology in relevant discipline from a Statutory University or Institution empowered by Parliament. Professional body degrees recognized as equivalent by State/Central Government are also eligible.
- **Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (Category-II):** Diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant discipline from a State Council/Board of Technical Education or recognized University/Institution. Diploma in Commercial Practice is also eligible for specific seats.
- Candidates with equivalent qualifications must submit an Equivalency Certificate from the competent authority.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973 in any organization are NOT eligible.
- Minimum age: Above 18 years as on 01.09.2026.

- Shortlisting will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification for the respective discipline.
- In case of tied marks, merit will be decided by seniority in the passing year. If passing year is identical, the older candidate (by date of birth) will be preferred.
- Shortlisted candidates must undergo certificate verification with original documents (proof of age, qualification, marks, caste, disability if any). Failure to produce originals will result in rejection.
- Final selection is subject to medical fitness and availability of training seats as per reservation policy.

- Original and self-attested copies of proof of age, qualification certificates, mark sheets, caste certificate (if applicable), disability certificate (if applicable), and domicile certificate.
- Equivalency Certificate (if applicable) for candidates with equivalent qualifications.
