Guarantee Engineer (Contract) at Ship Repair Facility, Karwar

- Contract-based Guarantee Engineer position at the Ship Repair Facility in Karwar, India.
- Open exclusively to Ex-Indian Navy personnel with specialized experience in marine equipment and systems.
- Role involves frequent visits to work sites, ships, docks, and confined spaces, requiring physical agility and endurance.
- The position is not suitable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) due to high-risk work environment.

- Educational Qualification:
• Pass in 10th Standard (X Standard).
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification obtained during Indian Navy service.
- Experience:
• Essential: Minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in operation, maintenance, and watchkeeping of marine equipment and systems on Indian Naval Surface Ships/Submarines.
• Desirable:
- Knowledge of propulsion systems, equipment, and administrative procedures of the Indian Navy.
- Experience in Marine Main Engines, Gearboxes, Propulsion Systems, Auxiliary Machineries (e.g., HVAC, Refrigeration, Sewage Treatment, Oily Water Separator, Power Generation and Distribution, Weapon Equipment, Sensors, Deck Machineries).
- Proficiency in computer-based data management and record-keeping.
- Age Limit: Maximum age of 56 years as of 30 October 2026 (born on or after 31 October 1970).
- Nationality: Only Indian Nationals need to apply.

- Selection will be conducted through a Personal Interview (out of 100 Marks).
- Candidates must successfully complete certificate verification before attending the interview.
- Shortlisting of candidates will be based on eligibility requirements verified through uploaded certificates in the online application portal.
- Rank list will be prepared based on marks secured in the Personal Interview. In case of a tie, seniority in age will be considered.

- Equivalency Certificate (if applicable) for qualifications obtained during service.
- Proof of age (e.g., birth certificate, passport, or 10th Standard certificate).

- Recent passport-size color photograph.
